The USACM has established fellowships to support students and post-doctoral fellows to attend and present a talk at the 9th World Congress on Computational Mechanics/APCOM to be held July 19-23 in Sydney, Australia. Each fellowship will allow travel reimbursement up to $1200. Graduate students and Post-doctoral Fellows are eligible to apply. NEMB2010 to be held February 7-10 in Houston

USACM is pleased to co-sponsor the First Global Congress on NanoEngineering for Medicine and Biology will be held in Houston, Texas February 7-10. Early registration ends January 25; USACM members may register under the member rate.

Over 300 presentations will be made in the areas of NanoEngineering for Medical Diagnostics; NanoEngineering for Medical Therapeutics and Imaging; Nano-/Micro-fluids for Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutics; NanoEngineering for Regenerative Medicine; Manufacturing and Materials for NanoMedicine; Multiscale Modeling in Biological Systems; and Biological NanoMechanics. Election of USACM Officers and Executive Council

Nominations for Secretary of USACM Executive Council and for four Members-at-Large. Each individual member of USACM, in good standing, may submit one nomination for the office of USACM Secretary/Treasurer. Members-at-Large may be nominated for the Secretary/Treasurer position. Nominations should be emailed to the USACM Secretariat at info@usacm.org no later than February 15, 2010.
