A postdoctoral research position in developing computational methods for Maxwell's EM wave scattering from surfaces with microscale textures is available immediately at the Multiscale Science and Engineering Center at Rensselaer. This project involves close collaborations with Army Research Office.

The candidate should hold a doctor degree in a relevant discipline, such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in multiscale simulations and scientific programming (C, C++, or Fortran).
